SUP & Snorkel Palawan, Philippines • February/March 2016

Calling adventurous types! The Palawan region in the Philippines is still considered a last frontier. Their coral reefs remain pristine and the mountainous islands are ringed with sparkling white beaches. The area is rich in WWII history, so the wreck diving is beyond phenomenal! Thankfully (for non-divers) many wrecks lie in waters just a few metres deep, making it possible to swim through shipwrecks without the need for scuba gear! Monkeys and a wealth of bird life are among the wonderful creatures you’ll befriend above the waterline. Turtles, dolphins and dugongs swim below. Three nights will be spent on an island that overlooks the main attraction, Coron Island. Also will spend a couple of nights in tree houses high in the canopy, overlooking the jungle and a remote river. The final three nights will be spent at a luxury resort on Busanga’s northern coast. This expedition is riddled with opportunities to explore rivers, islands and coastlines by SUP and experience the magic of Palawan in a way that few travelers do.
